The 1967 Belgian 20 Francs coin features a reverse design with the Expo 67 emblem, a stylized globe that nods to the event's theme of international progress. It's one of the few Belgian issues that directly tied a national currency to a foreign exposition, highlighting Brussels' nod to Montreal's global showcase.

Struck in .835 fine silver, the coin was produced for circulation but quickly became a keepsake. Mintage estimates vary; official records from that era are spotty, possibly lost in bureaucratic reshuffles.
